Collage Arts (formerly Haringey Arts Council) is a leading arts development, training and creative regeneration organisation.

Collage Arts is a 'social action ' body , rather than an 'arts lead' organisation , where the provision and support of arts activity is the tool by which the organisation works.

Collage Arts is a founding member of the newly formed Creative Industries Support voluntary-sector partnership in North East London.

For almost 20 years Collage Arts has created opportunities for greater participation, access and consumption of the arts and creative industries for the whole community.

By using arts and creativity as a tool, Collage Arts has been able to make profound changes in local peoples' lives, enabling them to make positive leaps towards setting up and establishing creative businesses, or identify training in a wide range of creative industry areas.

Based at the heart of the 'Cultural Quarter' in Wood Green, Collage Arts has developed two buildings that house over 174 creative industry businesses. The Chocolate Factory is home to visual artists, wood workers, sculptors and ceramists and the annual Open Studios where the building opens its doors to the public. Its Chocolate Factory 2 building is primarily occupied by new media businesses such as graphic designers, video production companies, music production houses and digital photographers. Chocolate Factory 2 incorporates an up to the minute online centre armed with the latest video editing and music software. The Chocolate Factory complex is also served by an innovative Indian fusion restaurant 'La Kera', and an intimate live venue the Karamel Club which is used for comedy, theatre, spoken word and live music like the recently held City Showcase regional heats.

A thriving membership organisation, Collage Arts regularly programmes exhibitions, literature events, projects with schools, community festival events providing a platform for local artists.

With a proven track record of delivering quality accredited training programmes in Sound Engineering, Music Business Industry Overview and Practice, Film and Video production and business support programmes. Collage Arts is committed to improving the skills and resources available to those involved, or wanting to be involved in the creative industries.
