Kerry Harvey-Piper

ArtForm: Workshop Panellist

A relative new-comer to the music industry, Kerry’s background is in marketing and PR.  She was part of the development team behind an early social networking site for musicians that pre-dated MySpace.  In 2006 she set up independent label Red Grape Records with her husband, producer and musician Calum MacColl.

Red Grape has expanded over the past 4 years to include artist management services and publishing.  Red Grape works with one of Iceland’s top artists Hafdis Huld, established international singer songwriter Boo Hewerdine and eclectic dance mix artist Broadcaster, as well as several new artists.  Red Grape is exploring ways to work with new acts and solo artists that don’t necessarily conform to a traditional label or management deal.

Kerry was elected to the Board of AIM in 2008.  She has 5 children, two of whom are musicians in bands signed to big independents.
