Following the release of debut single 'Miracle', JOSH LEYS eases back with 'To Be Creating', searching for inspiration and motivation inside a jazzy hiphop groove. "Hiphop is such a big influence for me. Songwriting, singing, beatboxing - a lot of what I do is inspired by hiphop or hinges off that" Josh Leys is proving to be more than just a pretty face. As well as writing and producing 'To Be Creating', Josh conceived and wrote the script for the accompanying music video, calling in iconic kiwi actor friend Craig Hall for a comic cameo and working again with director and visionary Ed Davis to turn Josh's imagination into visual reality. With his debut EP to be recorded later this year and recent support slots for Dane Rumble in Taupo and Auckland, we can also expect to see and hear more of Josh's exciting live show. ‘To Be Creating’ and ‘Miracle’… what will happen next?
